ASAP ProgramASAP curriculum
follows the traditional school calendar -- September to June -- and offers full
and half-day programs. Both programs service children between the ages
of 2 1/2 and 7 years, and follow the appropriate New Jersey schools core curriculum.
ASAP daily classroom schedule will include the following activities:
- Educational and behavioral intervention
- Social skills training through
activities
- Related services as scheduled.
- Therapeutic" feeding

All activities are organized
with structured free play opportunities, tailored to each child's needs, and follow

will be 1-2/1. Classroom size is limited to no more than 10 children. Children
are grouped based on their developmental age levels. An extended summer
program is available to ensure that acquired skills are maintained during the
summer break. The core ASAP service-offering
consists of four programs: - Center-Based: Children,
ages 2 1/2 to 7years, attend either half or full-day sessions where they receive
individualized intensive intervention program targeted at facilitating their inclusion
into the least restrictive environment by the time they reach kindergarten age.
- Outreach Program: Children receive related services and home instruction
on an individual basis, either at ASAP's facility, at home, or in their
school.
- Parent Training and Support: Parents receive the guidance,
training and support needed, either in their home or at ASAP
- Consultation
Service to the Schools: Teaching staff will receive the training and guidance
either through in-services or hands-on training during classroom activities.
